Land Acknowledgement

The land we live and work on is sacred to the Indigenous peoples who walked and lived in harmony with these grounds long before we were here. We recognize this and understand it as a reality. It continues to cause pain and challenge for Indigenous communities. We believe acknowledging this reality is only a beginning and much more is needed to fully understand the history and contemporary trauma that has resulted from colonization, forced assimilation, removal and dislocation of Indigenous peoples. We are mindful and committed to form a future that acknowledges this reality.
